Recovery does not end at graduation. Alpha House’s Alumni Program exists to ensure that individuals who have completed our programs remain connected, supported, and welcomed as part of the Alpha House community.

Alumni are always part of Alpha House. Whether you are thriving, struggling, or simply need to reconnect, our doors remain open.

Alumni Meetings

Alumni meetings are held every Tuesday at 6:00 pm. These meetings provide a safe, supportive space to reconnect with peers, share experiences, and strengthen recovery through community and mutual support.

Open-Door Alumni Support

Alumni are welcome to stop by Alpha House any day between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm to touch base with staff, reconnect with the community, or seek guidance.

No appointment is required. Whether you need a quick check-in or a longer conversation, Alpha House remains a place of safety and support.

Referral Programming for Alumni in Need

We recognize that recovery is not linear. Alumni who are experiencing challenges may be referred to appropriate programming and supports based on their needs.

Referral supports may include:

• Connection to internal Alpha House services

• Referral back into residential or community-based treatment when appropriate

• Linkages to external treatment, housing, mental health, or recovery supports

• Case management and clinical consultation

Referrals are guided by clinical assessment, dignity, and respect, with the goal of stabilizing recovery and reducing harm.

A Safe Space When Clinically Appropriate

Alpha House may provide alumni with access to a safe, supportive space when deemed clinically appropriate. This may include short-term stabilization, increased support, or structured check-ins to help alumni regain footing in their recovery.

All decisions are made collaboratively and based on clinical judgment, safety, and individual need.

The Alumni Program reflects Alpha House’s belief that recovery is strengthened through connection, continuity, and compassion. Alumni are not viewed as former clients, but as lifelong members of our recovery community.
